I understand that now is not the time for everything, that all efforts should be directed towards winning the war. But I believe that everything in this world is interconnected: a former prisoner, after talking with a representative of the Odigitria Charity Fund, decides to join the Ukrainian Armed Forces and defend Ukraine. Another person renounces their criminal past and reaches for a brighter future without crimes. Someone reconciles with God, others with their loved ones, and some with themselves. And all of this affects life, society, the state, our lives that pass by, but what will we leave for our children? What future, what country, what society? It is for this, for the future of our children and grandchildren, that the Odigitria Charity Fund was created.
Funding for the Odigitriya Prison Mission has completely stopped as of today. Not a single hryvnia has been received in the mission's accounts for the past six months. I will still continue to work in such conditions, and pray that the Lord will touch the hearts with the Holy Spirit and dispose them to deeds of mercy, compassion, and love.
