According to the charter of the charitable organization and the religious community, we can and have the right to engage in many types of activities, namely: - spread the Christian faith and teachings of Orthodoxy; - carry out missionary, charitable, catechetical, publishing and informational work; - carry out construction; - engage in charity work in hospitals, correctional facilities; - develop and implement social, rehabilitative, adaptive programs aimed at improving life and consciousness; - help the Armed Forces of Ukraine prayerfully and practically, investing as much as possible in our victory And much more...
... To date, a small percentage of this large list of possibilities is working: - there is a social rehabilitation and adaptation center in which three people - a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, his wife and daughter from the Sumy region - are permanently staying...
... The prison mission works - phone consultations with prisoners and their relatives on various issues continue, the department of material assistance works, from which parcels with medicines, food products, clothes and household chemicals are sent to places of imprisonment.
... Displaced persons and the needy also call and come, and no one leaves empty-handed...
... All this activity has been going on since 2012, and is done by my family and a few involved friends.
... Now there is a situation where there are many requests for help, but implementation is not very good - the mission has no funds, no transport and no strength to pull these volumes.
... I am pointing to the fact that today there is an opportunity to join the works of mercy and love, in a convenient format, at a convenient time.
But all this activity is initially always inconvenient and out of time, and therefore it is always a sacrifice - a sacrifice of time, a sacrifice of the soul, a sacrifice of the heart, a sacrifice to God.
