Today, after the church service at the Holy Protection Church in Odesa, at 67 Bakhmutska Street, I collected and sent humanitarian aid to former prisoners, who are now soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This is for the last week alone...

I am very surprised that there are so few of us who need someone to sincerely thank God for the things we do...

Because the prisoners say that the Odigitria Charitable Foundation today is the only institution in Ukraine from which a prisoner, who has no one from relatives and friends, can receive help... Maybe there is someone else, but it is impossible to reach anyone, or it is very difficult to get through on the phone...

Today, after the church service, together with the charitable organization CF Odigitria (https://mission.tyurem.net/en), we collected and sent humanitarian aid to our defenders, and to places of detention in the Kyiv pre-trial detention center, Odesa, Kropyvnytskyi and Novo-Starodubska correctional colonies: warm clothes and food, hygiene products and spiritual literature...

Today, after the church service, together with the charitable organization CF Odigitria, we collected and sent humanitarian aid to our defenders: gun cleaning supplies, warm clothes, power banks and coffee.

The morning began with a prayer for our soldiers and for the victory of our army...

...but after the prayer, we need to help, to add what our boys and girls need, who are now at the front, in the trenches and dugouts, preventing the darkness from capturing Ukraine...

Today, after the Divine Liturgy, together with the Odigitria Charitable Foundation
collected and sent humanitarian aid to the Poltava Women's Correctional Colony - hygiene and food.
Many of yesterday's prisoners have already joined the Armed Forces. Today's prisoners can turn into soldiers tomorrow and will defend our Ukraine with arms in their hands...
...and the Lord commanded me to visit and support the prisoners...
...so I will continue as long as I have the strength...

The war affects everyone. Everyone who is living now and those who will come after us. Our present day is the result of our past choices. Our future day is the result of today's choices and decisions. And while we are here, each of us must decide whose side we are on. Yes, one can pretend that this does not concern them and look indifferently at what is happening, but whoever is not with us is against us.

Today, after the Divine Liturgy, together with the Odigitria Charity Fund (mission.tyurem.net), we collected and sent humanitarian aid to combat units where those who were behind bars six months ago are now fighting.

We also sent food, clothing, footwear, household chemicals, and hygiene products to the Odessa pre-trial detention center.

In the United States, there are hundreds of various programs aimed at helping, socializing, adapting, and integrating inmates released from places of detention. Some organizations are solely dedicated to transporting released prisoners, others to housing them, or finding employment, social connections, and medical examinations. Numerous psychologists, volunteers, social workers, medical professionals, and others work together with a single goal: to help individuals find their path in life and break all ties with their criminal past.
