Prisoners from places of detention are calling. 

They ask for food—I have food for them. 

They ask for household chemicals and medicine—today, I have funds for household chemicals and medicine for them.

I don’t have a car, so I will call a taxi and take the packages to the courier, for whom I also have money.

I don’t have money to pay for the utilities of the office and warehouse of the Odigitria Charity Fund, no money to buy furniture, office, and household equipment, and no funds to purchase premises or a vehicle.

Today, I purchased and sent the following two parcels to places of detention in Ukraine:

Immersion heaters – Ukrainian prisoners have no way to make tea or heat water.

Food, seasonings, spices – The gruel they are fed is inedible without additives.

Soap – Ukrainian prisoners are not provided with soap.

Warm socks – Ukrainian prisons are cold and damp.

Medicines – There isn’t even cotton wool in Ukrainian prison hospitals.

Today, in Ukraine, prisoners are the most vulnerable social group.
They have no rights.
No provisions.
They are not given clothing or footwear.
They are not provided with hygiene products or basic necessities.
They do not receive qualified legal assistance.
Medical care is provided only in life-threatening situations, and only to relieve acute conditions—and even then, not always.

I received letters from prisoners...

From those who have no opportunity to make phone calls because, for this, a person must have a personal SIM card with money on it—not everyone can afford that.

I received five fresh letters.

One letter is from a prisoner serving a life sentence—he doesn’t ask for anything, he simply shares his life, his faith, and his hope.

He has already been incarcerated for 30 years…

Today, after the church service at the Holy Protection Church in Odesa, at 67 Bakhmutska Street, I collected and sent humanitarian aid to former prisoners, who are now soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This is for the last week alone...

I am very surprised that there are so few of us who need someone to sincerely thank God for the things we do...

Because the prisoners say that the Odigitria Charitable Foundation today is the only institution in Ukraine from which a prisoner, who has no one from relatives and friends, can receive help... Maybe there is someone else, but it is impossible to reach anyone, or it is very difficult to get through on the phone...

Today, after the church service, together with the charitable organization CF Odigitria (https://mission.tyurem.net/en), we collected and sent humanitarian aid to our defenders, and to places of detention in the Kyiv pre-trial detention center, Odesa, Kropyvnytskyi and Novo-Starodubska correctional colonies: warm clothes and food, hygiene products and spiritual literature...

Today, after the church service, together with the charitable organization CF Odigitria, we collected and sent humanitarian aid to our defenders: gun cleaning supplies, warm clothes, power banks and coffee.
